Sustainable Ecosystem For EVs

The rage of electric vehicles has been immense and reverberant all along with the world. India, in 2021, is no different when EV is taking giant strides towards mass adoption that could see phasing out of ICE vehicles by 2030. But, things are not as easy as it seems when large automobile companies talk about phasing out ICE models as this could mean a considerable loss to consumers who are already dependent on their ICE vehicles. So, what could be done to mitigate the consumer issues and boost the EV rage?

According to Niti Aayog, Budget 2019 perceives a transportation renaissance in New India, based on e vehicles, renewable energy, and energy storage innovation. India is developing an electric mobility environment that is shared, network-integrated, sustainable, and intelligent.

The sustainability factor has always been high on the agenda for both government and manufacturers of EVs. That means, most manufacturers have to build a roadmap and ecosystem that will consistently drive EVs to their consumers at a certain pace. This factor would alone help India’s dream to phase out ICE vehicles by the year 2030.

On top of a sustainable ecosystem, large corporations and manufacturers are continuously letting innovations flourish as carbon emissions from such organizations are enormous. If steps are not taken at the grassroots level, then imagining selling electric bikes to consumers would be folly.

As per an article by Maryville University, many flora and fauna species will not survive past the twenty-first century if corporations do not act responsibly as members of the global community. "The current human-driven rate of extinction of plant and animal species is hundreds of times higher than the natural rate”, which is really a matter of great concern.

The most obvious part is that large corporations and manufacturers have a higher number of employees and leaders to make a noticeable impact. They can quickly promote things in their corporate ecosystem than any other organization. For example, promoting flora growth in office premises and boosting a paperless culture are commendable things that corporates can undertake to reduce carbon footprint and achieve carbon neutrality.

Amo Mobility has taken positive steps to incorporate a green ecosystem, which includes driving towards recycling programs to make a green and sustainable EV ecosystem in the country. Currently, a significant part of our electric scooter is made using recycled materials while we have also encouraged a culture of paperless communication and transactions. The best part is our awareness campaigns that run throughout the country making citizens aware of the benefits of a sustainable and green planet for new India in the digital era.

This will greatly benefit the country by switching to electric vehicles and achieving carbon neutrality and will encourage other organizations to undertake similar steps. Manufacturing companies are pledging to reduce their environmental effect by establishing ecologically-minded workplaces. This would imply advancing policies and initiatives aimed at enhancing the green ecosystem.
